Step 1 - Prepare your file

If you need a template to get started, download our LaneQuote file template. It includes a sample entry to help you format your data correctly.

Important notes

• Mandatory fields are bolded and must be included.

• Do not move, add, or rename columns - this may prevent processing.

• Rows with missing or invalid entries will not be processed.

• Only CSV files are accepted.

Name – A custom name for the lane, if applicable.

Origin City – The city where the lane starts.

Origin State – The state or province of the origin.

Origin Zip Code – The ZIP code of the origin city.

Destination City – The city where the lane ends.

Destination State – The state or province of the destination.

Destination Zip Code – The ZIP code of the destination city.

Equipment – The required equipment for this lane (van, reefer, flatbed, stepdeck).

At present, LaneQuote only returns rates for van, reefer, flatbed, and stepdeck.
