What is Bidding on 123Loadboard?
Bidding is designed specifically to cut right to the point of negotiating a flat rate for hauling a load. It’s quick, interactive, and easy to understand; allowing you to book more loads faster.
How Does Bidding Work?
The bidding system on 123Loadboard allows carriers to start negotiating a rate just by opening up a load and clicking the “Bid” button.
By clicking the “Bid” button, the carrier can send an initial offer to haul the load.
All sent bids will be available in the “Bids” tab on both our website and mobile apps. You will be able to review all your bids, and you will get a notification on the bubble icon when you have unread updates on your bids.
As a carrier, your bid may appear in either the “Bids” section or the “Interactive bids” section:
If your bid falls under the “Bids” section, the load poster will respond to your bid through call, messaging or email.
If your bid falls under the “Interactive Bids” section, the load poster will respond to your bid through 123Loadboard’s bidding functionality. Load posters will have the option to accept or reject your bid and can also respond with a counteroffer.
Bids under the “Interactive Bids” window will fall under 5 different statuses.
-
Action Required - Action is required on your part to continue the bidding process.
-
Pending - The bid is waiting for action from the other party.
-
Rejected - The most recent offer was rejected.
-
Withdrawn - The most recent offer was withdrawn.
-
Confirmed - The most recent offer was confirmed.
